Limited Shell Special restrictions

1) All Free users are allowed one account. Accounts accessed by the same ip will be removed.
Accounts with fake names or registration information will be removed.

2) The following is prohibited: Gameservers, IRC Servers, Shoutcast or other streaming services, any process using more than 5% cpu for 5 minutes,
any process using more than 250mb of ram, any process consuming excessive amounts of bandwidth,
and any hacking, spam, ddos, or other questionable or illegal programs.

3) Connections to the server shall be limited by the firewall, which allows up to 5 failed SSH logins before blocking for 20 minutes.

4) Free users are allowed 1 single irc connection, and 1 background process. Exceeding these limits will cause all programs to be terminated automatically.

General Acceptable Use Policy

1) Any legal program is allowed on paid shell accounts except Gameservers. Reserved listening ports for shell accounts are 6660-6669, 7000, 6697, 9999. Please do not use these ports unless authorized to do so.

2) DDoS, Spam, or other malicious programs are expressly forbidden from being uploaded to any of our servers.

3) Clients expecting any form of ddos attack are asked to bind their programs to a secondary IP, this means dont use our servers main ip address if you expect a ddos attack.

4) allows customers to use all the resources they subscribe to in their plans, but sometimes we may need to limit your resource usage if it becomes too intense for our servers. If you think this may be the case for a plan you are considering please contact us first to discuss your options with

Resource Abuse

Resource Abuse consists of any activity, intentional or otherwise, that consumes sufficient system resources to negatively affect other clients or equipment.

Unsolicited Communication

Any email-based communications sent without the consent of the recepient.

Knowingly permitting or initiating Unsolicited Communications is grounds for immediate termination, and a permanent ban from any future service.

Malicious Content

Any type of script, code, or other file that performs harmful action, either to the user affected or as a bulk action triggered by the user.

Any content that violates Canadian or United States laws

Knowingly permitting or hosting Malicious Content is grounds for immediate termination, and a permanent ban from any future service.

Actions resulting from AUP Violations

1) Services rendered for free will be immediately terminated and IP blocks for that user will be blocked from accessing our servers, soley at discretion.

2) Upon a complaint by Our host, we will follow the guidelines required by our provider on responding to their tickets. In the event we must shut down
Your service to comply, we reserve the right to do so. Clients will have 24 hours to respond to a ticket in this case. Clients with no response in 24 hours
will have their service stopped and placed in a suspended state. If no response is made within 48 hours we will leave the service suspended
and set the service terminate at the end of the billing cycle unless we get a response from the client.

3) Upon a complaint directly to, we will allow 24 hours for a response to the abuse complaint. If a response is not made in 24 hours we will
stop the service until a response is made in regards to the abuse complaint. If no response is made within 48 hours we will leave the service suspended
and set the service terminate at the end of the billing cycle unless we get a response from the client.

4) A second abuse complaint unrelated to the first will result in a $15 service fee being imposed before services are unsuspended.
A third complaint will require the service become managed (+$35/mo), and an internal security audit of your service with an additional $15 service fee.
Any future abuse complaints beyond this will result in termination without refund.

Technical Rules

1) Bandwidth: Users with VPS's will be allowed the full port speed of their VPS until their bandwidth allotment has been exhausted. Upon bandwidth exhaustion
VPS's will be throttled to 10mbps for the remainder of the billing cycle until a ticket is submitted requesting full port speed. Users not wishing to have
limited port speed can purchase bandwidth in 500GB increments for $5 of 500GB

2) Customization: Users wishing for custom services can either order a managed service, or pay $15 one time for setup of a custom OS or other customization

3) DDoS Protection: If you are under attack, we will try our best NOT to null route your service. The only time we will disable your IP address is if the DDoS
attack is affecting the host node. In most instances this does not happen but if it does we will leave your service interupted until our provider notifies
us that the attack has stopped. We will not terminate your service for too many attacks but we may opt to change your IP, move your service to another node, or use tunneled IP addresses.

Disputes and Chargebacks

1) Chargebacks and/or disputes against any payment will result in immediate suspension of all services on the account until the dispute is removed, and the account prohibited from placing any further orders. At the Billing Department's discretion, all services on the account may be terminated without compensation in the event of dispute or chargeback.
2) All cancellations must be made through our website, in advance of the service billing date. If you pay through a subscription you must cancel before the due date of the subscription in order to avoid being billed.
3) Any client who registers for service is entitled to a 30 day money back guarentee on the first service registered in their account. Subsequent orders are exempt from 30-day money back refunds.

4) Any client initiating a chargeback on any service through our payment forfiets the right to a refund if the chargeback is initiated based on fraudulent allegations.
